Ty Joseph Bourgeois, raised in north Florida, is one of the last individuals you'd expect to be building skis. Imbued at a young age and undeterred by his southern upbringing, Ty developed an obsession for skiing during yearly family ski vacations, which truly emanated following college when he moved to Park City, Utah. After several years of excelling in the art of ski bumming, he thirsted for more fulfilling and practical connections to his passion, and thus pursued the craft of skiing making.
He met Paul at the same ski factory in Tahoe, and 5 years later they decided to relocate to bigger mountains, less crowds and more snow. Despite Ty's seven-day work week, he makes sure to get out every day in any condition and loves every minutes of it.
